The Role
You’ll be working with a leading manufacturer and systems integrator of industrial and embedded computing solutions in the UK, delivering both cutting-edge, fully integrated computer systems to global markets. By combining secure hardware, software, and services, the business helps customers in industries such as defence, transport, healthcare, automation, and communications accelerate innovation and reduce time-to-market.
No two days are the same. In this role, you’ll:
✅ Inspect products and processes against strict quality standards.
✅ Spot defects, document results, and drive corrective actions.
✅ Work hands-on with inspection tools, keeping equipment calibrated and reliable.
✅ Support and learn from audits (internal and external).
✅ Investigate customer complaints and help find solutions.
✅ Keep records up-to-date and organised, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
✅ Work closely with production teams—sharing inspection results and ensuring quality awareness is embedded across the organisation.
✅ Be involved in improving the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO 9001 processes.
