We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\n\nWhat we can offer you; \n\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays \nAccess to our company pension scheme \nFree physiotherapy service \nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers \nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to \nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential \n\nWhat you'll be doing; \n\nPerform duties in an efficient & effective manner that will ensure maximum productivity\nTo liaise daily with the Transport Manager, making sure all the Transport related tasks are completed within the deadline.\nTo be able to communicate with the workshop department and external contractors when required.\nTo ensure weekly filing of maintenance records and vehicle defect sheets is completed to stay compliant with the fleet department.\nDaily vehicle inspections to be completed.\nTo work in partnership with the management team ensuring all accidents are reported to the Insurance company and files are updated daily.\nWeekly downloads of vehicle tachographs to ensure we are fleet compliant.\nTo cover Collection and Streets services, Wembley Stadium, echo/admin related tasks while other Control members are not available.\nTo accurately complete appropriate forms/paperwork, Team Safe Behaviour, near-miss reporting into relevant report systems.\nComply with any site conditions, ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.\nAssisting with note taking (Investigation/disciplinaries).\n\nWhat we're looking for; \n\nEssential:\n\nPrior experience in a similar environment would be essential.\nThe ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills at all levels is necessary.\nBasic understanding of Health & Safety at work.\nIT Skills\n3.5T Category B Driving LicenceDesirable:\n\nHGV Driving Licence\nExperience of Google Suite.\nEcho experience\n \nWhat's next?\n\nApply today, so we can make a difference for generations to come.\n\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
