A market-leading organisation is looking for an IT Programme Lead to drive the delivery of complex, high-value IT programmes in a secure environment. This strategic leadership role focuses on large-scale change, aligning programmes to business objectives, and delivering measurable benefits across interdependent projects.
The successful candidate will operate confidently at senior level, shaping programme direction, managing governance and finances, and building strong relationships across technical teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners. You'll ensure programmes run smoothly from initiation to operational handover.
Candidates must be willing and able to gain security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate business objectives into clear programme roadmaps
* Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT programmes
* Manage interdependencies across multiple projects and workstreams
* Oversee governance, risk, reporting, and financial control
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders and executives
* Ensure smooth transition of programmes into operational delivery
Requirements
* 3+ years at IT Programme Manager/Lead level
* Broad IT knowledge across infrastructure, systems, and delivery
* Proven experience delivering large, multi-project IT change
* Confident working with senior management and executives
* Strong commercial awareness and budget management
* Local and able to be on-site as required
* Eligible and willing to gain clearance
Desirable
* Formal programme management qualification
* Experience in secure environments
* ITIL or broader service management exposure
