Job Duties:
The Teaching Assistant will support the teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom. Duties include assisting with lesson planning, providing one-on-one support to students, helping with classroom organisation, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an educational setting is required. A relevant qualification in education or teaching assistance is preferred.
Education:
A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths is required. Additional qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within education is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have strong time management skills, be proactive in their approach to supporting students, possess effective behaviour management skills, and be adaptable to different classroom environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent, would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
The Teaching Assistant will work within a school environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The role may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate school events or activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
