We ae seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team of Teaching Assistants, with a particular focus on English as an Additional Language, supporting students learning English as a second language. The ability to foster good relationships with students and enthuse young people to want to learn, good communication skills, personal integrity, high expectations and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential as well as a flexible and professional approach to work. Promoting the acceptance and inclusion of all students and providing support as required to provide access to learning for all is a key responsibility of this role.
This post is fixed term until 31st August 2026 (may possibly be extended depending on funding).
The successful candidate will be required to work under the direct instruction of the SENCO, usually in the classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for students and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.
