EYFS Teaching Assistant
Pay: £13.68 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience and role type)
Empowering Learning is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Primary Academy in Denton (Tameside). This role will involve working in the Early Years setting to support children's learning and development, including providing personal care for some pupils with SEND.

Role responsibilities:
Supporting children in EYFS through play-based and structured learning
Delivering tailored interventions to support children's development
Assisting pupils with SEND, including those with ASD and ADHD
Providing personal care where required (toileting, feeding, dressing support)
Supporting teachers with classroom organisation, planning, and assessment
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction
Requirements for Registration:
Previous experience in EYFS or Early Years childcare desirable
Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, ADHD) advantageous
Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE/NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or Childcare) beneficial
Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Two professional references covering the last 2 years
