<div><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Care Co‑ordinator Safeguarding role at Priory Medical Group in York. We are looking for an exceptional individual who will provide professional, competent and efficient support as the first point of contact to Patients/Colleagues/Carers and other Healthcare professionals regarding urgent Safeguarding issues for Children. Reporting and accountable to the Practice Safeguarding Lead/Deputy Lead and Chief Operating Officer. We are looking for 20 hours per week (4 hours daily with flexible timing and the ability to work from home).</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Reporting - you will oversee and complete all reports for safeguarding‑relevant information received into Priory Medical Group, supported by the Administrative Care Co‑ordinator. These reports vary from 24‑hour to 7‑day time‑frames. Reports include: MASH information requests, Section 17 and 47 information enquiries, ICPC reports (Initial Child Protection Conference).</li><li>Team Co‑ordination - to work closely with the PMGs Safeguarding Lead and Deputy and the site‑based Safeguarding Champions on safeguarding cases across 8 surgeries.</li><li>Liaison work - to act as the responsible named liaison with the Regional Safeguarding Lead Nurses and GP, Social workers/Health Visitors and the Practice teams.</li><li>Supporting MDTs - to attend, participate and actively contribute to any MDTs (Multi‑Disciplinary Team) approach to safeguarding issues / patient cases.</li><li>Maintaining knowledge - responsible for maintaining / updating knowledge of appropriate safeguarding guidelines, policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.</li></ul><h3>Skills and Behaviours</h3><ul><li>Skilled Report Writing</li><li>Assurance</li><li>Strong Communication Skills</li><li>Regulatory Compliance</li><li>IT Literate</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Patient Care</li><li>Build and Maintain positive working relationships</li><li>Autonomous working</li><li>Confidentiality</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><b>Essential</b></p><ul><li>Proven Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Health Visitor</li><li>Proven familiarity of working in child and/or adult safeguarding system</li></ul><p><b>Desirable</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience of generating periodic reports that provide clear, concise and relevant information to the business that also proposes solutions / improvements where appropriate.</li><li>Competent in the use of SystmOne (electronic patient records system).</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Free confidential counselling and extensive wellbeing resources accessible through the NHS.</li></ul></div>
