Apprentice Property Management

Job Summary
Kick-start your career in property with a hands-on apprenticeship in a busy professional office. You'll support the day-to-day management of residential properties while working toward a recognised qualification through structured education and on-the-job training. You'll learn how to look after properties and tenants, keep immaculate records, and communicate confidently with residents, contractors, and colleagues.
What you'll learn
* Foundations of property management: compliance, health & safety, and best practice.
* Professional communication and customer care, including excellent phone etiquette.
* How to use leading property software and office systems to a high standard.
* Marketing basics: advertising listings and (appropriately) upselling/cross-selling services or available units.
* Coordinating maintenance, inspections, and contractor visits.
* Preparing simple reports on occupancy, performance, and tenant satisfaction.
* The legal essentials of lettings, leases, renewals, and terminations.
Training & Qualification: We'll support you through a formal apprenticeship programme (e.g., Housing & Property Management Level 3 or equivalent) and relevant industry credentials (such as Propertymark/ARLA modules), combining study time with real responsibilities.Key Responsibilities (with guidance and supervision)
* Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
* Be a friendly, professional first point of contact—handle enquiries and help resolve issues promptly.
* Help schedule and conduct routine property inspections; log actions and follow-ups.
* Support the administration of lease documentation: new lets, renewals, and terminations.
* Maintain accurate tenant and property records; perform high-accuracy data entry
* Post and update listings; assist with basic marketing and responsible upselling of services/units.
* Liaise with maintenance teams and contractors to arrange timely repairs and track completion.
* Compile simple dashboards/reports for management on occupancy, maintenance, and satisfaction metrics.
About You
* Keen to learn, organised, and attentive to detail—able to juggle multiple tasks.
* Warm, clear communicator with strong phone etiquette and a helpful mindset.
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; eager to master CRM
* Integrity and discretion when handling data and tenant information.
* A team player who can also work independently with guidance.
* Some office/admin experience is a plus (not essential); strong data entry accuracy is important.
Minimum Requirements
* Right to work in the UK.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) preferred.
* Willingness to undertake apprenticeship training and assessments.
* A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential (site visits/inspections).

Working Hours
Monday–Friday and alternative Saturdays (working from Home), standard office hours (occasional flexibility for inspections/viewings).
