I am looking for a qualified Science teacher for a secondary school based in Trowbridge. The role offers an opportunity to be part of an engaging and inclusive school. The school is looking for a Science teacher with a specialism for Psychology though those with other specialisms are encouraged to apply.
The role starts in September and is a fantastic opportunity for a Science teacher with strong subject knowledge of the curriculum. Confidence in the ability to support students in making academic progress and being able to support their learning journey is a must. Responsibilities :
* Plan and deliver Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Lead and support extracurricular activities
* Foster a safe and inclusive environment for physical learning.
* Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly
* Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff.
Requirements :
* QTS and a degree in a Science - related subject
* Experience teaching in secondary schools
* Good classroom management and communication skills
* Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.
* Effective classroom and behaviour management
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
