Our Corporate Tax specialists within the EY Corporate Tax team work with a wide range of businesses—including OMBs, multi‑generational family businesses, PE backed entities, global corporations and AIM listed companies—across various stages of the business life cycle, from start‑up to established multinational. This work blends tax advisory and compliance, covering areas such as M&A structuring, exit planning, group re‑organisations, expansion into overseas territories, and more.
Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join EY’s Corporate Tax team nationwide. Successful candidates will work with excellent existing clients, grow their network, and play an essential role in winning new business. The role offers the chance to work on some of the most challenging clients in the market and help them navigate an increasingly complex business and tax environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with clients.
* Proactively develop business opportunities to add value to existing clients and to attract new clients.
* Manage the successful delivery of technically complex tax compliance and tax reporting engagements, as well as related advisory projects.
* Participate in tax audit engagements.
* Provide exceptional client service.
* Collaborate with other tax specialist teams.
* Support the development of junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
* Contribute to people initiatives.

To Qualify for the Role You Must Have
* ACA, CA, CTA, Tax Inspectors, or full technical training course/Law qualification/Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent breadth of knowledge.
* Strong tax technical skills.
* Business development skills to generate new work.
* Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
Ideally You’ll Also Have
* Project management skills to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
* Creative and pragmatic problem‑solving ability, recognising the tax technical and commercial implications of advice given.
