We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist within the WorkWell Programme to lead integration across health, care and employment support. This role is pivotal in shaping holistic, person-centred employment support that bridges health and work. You will be a registered Occupational Therapist with: Significant experience in mental health, long-term conditions, or vocational rehabilitation. Proven leadership and service development skills. Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. A commitment to inclusive, recovery-focused practice. Advert Lead the design and delivery of integrated occupational therapy services within the WorkWell Programme. Provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to multi-disciplinary teams. Collaborate with employment services, health providers, and local authorities to promote inclusive work health approaches. Support strategic planning, service evaluation, and quality improvement. Act as a clinical escalation point for complex health and employment needs. Develop and deliver training for health and employment professionals. Working for our organisation The role will be employed within Coventry and Warwickshire ICB. You will be supported by the Head of Allied Health Professions and Strategic Commissioning Lead for WorkWell. Detailed job description and main responsibilities Holistic Service design and delivery: Adopting personalised employment support, health and wellbeing services, and employer engagement to promote inclusive hiring practices. Expert Clinical Leadership: a highly influential occupational therapist, utilising clinical and professional expertise at the interface of health and employment services to promote integrated evidence-based approaches to employment support. Professional supervision and support: The post holder will use their expert professional clinical skills and extensive knowledge to provide high-quality, regular supervision to teams delivering the WorkWell programme, as well as clear leadership, and opportunities for continued professional development. Quality enhancement and evaluation: to embed the learning from the project to influence future commissioning intentions and service delivery. Communication and relationship skills : To develop stakeholder relationships with strategic leads from a range of sectors, including Employment, Health and Local Authorities to ensure they are well sighted and invested in the project, ensuring that the implementation of the Workwell programme aligns with existing governance and partnership arrangements.
