A high school in Bury has approached Hays looking for an interim IT Technician for 3-6 months. The role would be working in a high school on site Monday-Friday between 0800-1600. They are ideally looking for someone with school experience.
Your new role
As an IT Technician, you will:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff and students
* Troubleshooting hardware and software
* Maintenance of equipment, hardware and software
* Network diagnostics
* Installations, repairs and upgrades
* Helpdesk queries
* Resetting usernames and passwords
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
* Experience of working in an IT Support role (education sector desirable)
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to support staff and students
* Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
* Enhanced DBS (we can get on pending)
* Driving licence and access to own vehicle
What you'll get in return
