Job Purpose and Scope:
* To be the Commercial Lead for a large-scale project, taking ownership for maximising commercial results and exceeding client expectations to encourage repeat business.
Accountabilities and key tasks:
* To optimise the project’s net profitability and cash performance.
* Lead & manage & advise on matters relating to Client Contract & Value.
* Lead & manage the Procurement of Subcontractors and the Contractual & Financial management of Subcontractors.
* Lead in the identification and management of risks and opportunities.
* Provide accurate reports and forecasts of activity and net margin, utilising company tools & procedures.
* Collaborate with the Production Director & keep the Commercial Director briefed on key issues and concerns.
* To develop and manage commercial team members.

* In depth commercial experience with a main contractor
* Strong commercial awareness and focus on results
* Advanced technical, legal and commercial knowledge
* Experience of managing and avoiding disputes
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produce accurate work
* Proactive and confident communicator & shares knowledge
