Experienced Head Chef, Dining Pub, Islington We are currently recruiting for a talented, experienced, Head Chef to join the kitchen brigade at this fantastic, independently owned group of dining, gastro pubs based in Islington. With a real focus on seasonal produce and a passion for outstanding standards and service. This is an award wining operator, with every pub being unique, we are looking for an ambitious Head Chef with experience of cooking to a 3 Rosette standard to lead the team, drive the business and maintain standards. They receive whole carcasses of rare and native breeds and butcher our meat on site and work closely with the best farms in the UK. They receive whole carcasses of rare and native breeds and butcher our meat on site The Person The ideal Head Chef will have the following: - Solid experience in a premium fresh food kitchen - Butchery skill essential - 3 years experience in a similar kitchen with 3 Rosette level as Head Chef - British gastro cuisine experience is a must! -A proven track record of running a professional kitchen including managing budgets, GPs and 5* Food Hygiene - Can do attitude & team player - Eager to develop seasonal menus with full autonomy - Team player with excellent communication skills - Confidence to leading a team in a busy service - A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm to lead and develop your team If you are an experienced Head Chef looking for a new opportunity in Islington, apply today!
