Due to business growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Commercial Financial Analyst to join our PRS Commercial Finance team to deliver value creation projects and act as the key contact between the PMO and Business Unit stakeholders. As a Finance Analyst, you'll get to:
1. Provide financial analysis and feedback on projects being undertaken to the key stakeholders in the business unit.
2. Be the key commercial and financial contact and attend meetings with the Project Managers as required.
3. Be strategically minded ensuring project plans align with business objectives.
4. Develop dashboards to track progress, achieved efficiencies, and value addition of the projects and report back to key stakeholders within the agreed timescales.
5. Support budget and forecasting calculations with detailed analysis, providing feedback to key stakeholders as required.
6. Adhere to strict timetabled deadlines and answer any questions that may arise from the reporting.
7. Identify trends in financial data to aid commercial decision making and incorporate these into the projects undertaken.
8. Work with the PRS Business Unit to drive excellence by highlighting areas for reporting/modelling improvement and assist in resolving these.
9. Assist with improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance by engaging, collaborating with, and influencing internal stakeholders regularly.
Ideally, candidates will have:
* 5+ years' experience in FP&A, Finance Analyst, or Management Accountant roles.
* Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience.
* Computer literacy with advanced Excel skills.
* Experience with Dynamics, Navision, or Power BI is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills for financial and business modelling.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive problem-solving abilities.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
