Specialist Fuels Pricing and Stock Administrator
Staines on Thames - Hybrid Working
The role:
To join in an administrative role in the Specialist Fuels Team based in Staines as part of a small, multifunctional team handling all aspects of supply for our renewable fuel and specialist heating oil business in the UK. This is a crucial and varied role within the team and involves liaison with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Key responsibilities:
1. Calculating and issuing pricing to internal and external customers on a daily basis
2. Forecasting - for both internal use and for third party suppliers
3. Liaison with Terminal Operations Team - daily meetings re blending, planning, stock levels, issuing paperwork, logistics around bulk barge deliveries.
4. Issuing testing and sample requests to the laboratory and operations team
5. Reconciling and issuing stock reports on a regular basis throughout the month to ensure stock levels are accurate at month end/opening
6. Stock control/management - investigating stock gains and losses, recording stock levels, month end stock reporting
7. Providing relevant data to the Internal Tax Team for HMRC Tied Oil reporting (bi-monthly) and RDCO Returns (monthly)
8. Order processing and forward order planning with suppliers
9. Checking, approval and processing of supplier invoices on a daily basis
10. Providing KPI reports to internal and external stakeholders on request
Person Specification:
11. Proficient in Excel and all other Microsoft applications
12. Proven analytical skills
13. Organised, self-motivated individual with experience in a busy administrative environment
14. Ability to work under pressure and stay focused
15. Excellent communication skills
16. Team mentality and “can do” attitude
17. Experience more important than level of education but would expect good mathematical and analytical skills and/or qualifications. Any training gained in a professional environment would also be beneficial.
