The opportunity is to join our busy and growing butchery team to provide and promote excellent customer service behind the butchery and deli counter. Initially customer facing and taking pride in stocking and presenting our meat and deli displays - including or entrance meat chiller ensuring they are of the highest presentation and quality, with appropriate pricing, label information as well as the freshness of the product and the visual merchandising.
To produce high quality meat products in an efficient manner, minimising waste.
To ensure product safety and legal compliance through implementation of Uncle Henry's policies and procedures.
You will have knowledge or willing to learn food safety and hygiene procedures with regards to HACCP, allergen policies and procedure, and helping support the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
There will be opportunity for you to gain experience in the production butchery with training available to the successful candidate.
