About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Kettering. These roles are ideal for enthusiastic and reliable TAs who enjoy supporting pupils in their learning and development.
Opportunities are available across a range of settings, including mainstream and SEN environments, depending on experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support teaching and learning within the classroom
2. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
3. Assist pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
4. Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Support behaviour management and engagement
6. Work closely with teachers and support staff
Requirements
7. Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
8. Previous experience working with children or young people
9. A positive, patient, and proactive approach
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills
11. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
