Due a recent company merger and continued growth resulting in a stacked-out order book, our client is seeking the addition of a Mid-Level Web Application Developer to join their growing and technically evolving development team.
In return, you can expect to receive a generous starting salary of up to £42,000, plus a non-contractual annual bonus scheme, private healthcare scheme, flexible working options, paid overtime and genuine opportunities for progression.
Please note, this role is a full time, office-based role, with very occasional opportunities to attend client sites to provide expert software support during system commissioning phase. Once settled in the role, there is an opportunity to exercise a hybrid working option after a period of 6-12 months.
Due to the nature of the role and the firm's global client base, the successful candidate will be required to complete weekly 'out of hours' overtime, which is paid at £200 per shift. If you complete up to five overtime shifts per month, you can earn an additional £1000 on top of your basic monthly wage.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain web applications using MVC (C#, JavaScript, HTML) within Visual Studio
* Work with SQL databases, writing and maintaining efficient queries
* Contribute to desktop software development in Windows environments
* Participate in out-of-hours support (4–5 shifts/month after probation)
* Communicate professionally with customers and collaborate effectively with the internal team
* Manage personal workload, meet deadlines, and show initiative in learning the system from a Control Engineer's perspective
* Perform occasional site work (primarily UK-based, with some international travel)
* Be office-based full-time and hold a valid UK driving licence
* Embrace or be open to using AI tools in daily workflow
