Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and sustaining partnerships and collaborations across sectorsto maximise the reach and impact of our education programmes
* Leading collaborative initiatives that support system-wide learning andimprovement.
* Influencing education strategies at regional and national levels toensure alignment with best practices in end of life care.
* Representing the organisation in multi-agency forums and networks.
* Delivery of specialist education programmes, including advancedcommunication skills training and leadership courses.

Job Summary / Overall Purpose
The overarching purpose of this role is to transform, improve, and positively influence the experience of dying, death, and loss through education and learning. This is achieved by:
* Jointly lead and be responsible for managing and coordinating the work of a designated education and facilitation team to support the delivery of EOLPs strategic goals and outcome measures.
* Through education, innovation and collaboration, champion partner engagement approaches that positively impact the delivery of high-quality palliative and end-of-life care
* Jointly leadthe design, delivery, application, and evaluation of a diverse range of blended and tailored learning and educational opportunities that reflect the needs of stakeholders involved in palliative and end-of-life care.
* Lead, negotiate, and monitor education team performance against partner contracts and commissioned work
* Promote and support the use of digital technology to enhance learning opportunities and experiences, ensuring the accessibility of EOLP education for a diverse range of learners
* Analyse and facilitate a system-wide response to emerging palliative and end of life care learning and development issues.
Leadership and Coordination
* Contribute to EOLPs strategic development, providing steer and direction concerning education, learning, and development
* Represent EOLPs education offer and educational standards at regional, and national levels, building influence and collaboration.
* Act as a central link between education, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and aligned action.
* Coordinate joint planning, delivery, and review of partnership-led education initiatives.

* Analyse and facilitate a system-wide response to emerging palliative and end of life care learning and development needs.

Essential
* Registered qualification in health care or equivalent professional qualification in public health or social care fields
* First degree in relevant field
* Recognised qualification in teaching or facilitation of learning or willingness to undertake a post graduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters

* MA Education
* Facilitator of Advanced Communication Skills Training or willingness to undertake.
