As a Mechanic based in Hemel Hempstead, you’ll play a key role in assembling, testing, repairing, and maintaining highly engineered aerospace components. What You Will Do
1. Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units according to precise specifications.
2. Use hand and power tools to carry out mechanical assembly at floor stations.
3. Perform rigorous tests and calibrations to ensure compliance with tolerances and product specifications.
4. Troubleshoot and repair units that do not meet required standards.
5. Conduct inspections of incoming assemblies/components based on technical data and established procedures.
6. Execute complete teardown, diagnostics, repairs, reassembly, and testing of aerospace components.
7. Follow defined repair and return processes to maintain fast turnaround and high quality.
8. Assist in the setup of test and repair facilities and ensure readiness for operational use.
9. Undertake apprenticeship or internal training as required to advance your skillset.
What You Will Learn

Experience & Skills
15. Minimum 2 years of mechanical and assembly experience, ideally within the aerospace or high-precision engineering industry.
