We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Project Manager to come and join our team on our Nuclear Restoration Services account in Somerset, Hinkley Point A Site, Bridgwater, TA5 1YA.
The standard hours of work are 40 hours Monday to Thursday.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our vibrant and inclusive community on the Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) account, delivering projects that make a real, positive impact across the UK.
This role requires on‑site presence Monday to Thursday and involves leading high‑value projects requested by NRS, typically over £20k. You will be responsible for full project lifecycle management, including commercial oversight, cost tracking, process improvements, client relationship management, and ensuring compliance with NRS standards.
We are seeking someone with strong project management expertise, ideally with experience in construction, facilities management, or large‑scale operational environments. Candidates with nuclear or major project experience are highly desirable.

What you will do:
* Plan, manage and deliver projects to agreed time, cost and quality standards.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
* Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
* Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
* Ensure quotations and applications for payment comply with contract terms.
* Lead, motivate and support project teams, sub‑contractors and suppliers.
* Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
* Oversee day‑to‑day on‑site project delivery and act as the main interface with NRS.
* Manage client systems for tenders, quotations, early warnings and communications.
* Interpret client requirements and support development of scopes and specifications.
* Prepare accurate quotations, including subcontractor costs and tender documentation.
* Develop project programmes using appropriate software and track key milestones.
* Prepare and approve RAMS, permits to work and Safe Systems of Work.
* Conduct site safety inspections, pre‑work briefings and incident/near‑miss reporting.
* Ensure all projects meet regulatory, quality and safety standards.
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure adherence to AMEY and NRS procedures.
* Prepare construction phase plans, site documentation and method statements as required.
* Maintain strong working relationships with client representatives and senior management.
* Attend project meetings, providing updates, actions and accurate records.
* Produce complete and professional project handover documentation for clients.
What you will bring:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline (desirable).
* Professional qualification such as APM PPQ or equivalent (desirable).
* Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budget control.
* Proven experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle.
* Ability to lead and motivate multi‑disciplinary teams and contractors.
* Experience working to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
* Knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations.
* Experience managing Construction/M&E/small works projects.
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
* Ability to plan ahead proactively and manage competing priorities.
* Experience supervising and coordinating subcontractors.
* Technical understanding across multiple construction or FM disciplines.
* Ability to interpret and visualise technical drawings.
* Competent in project planning tools (MS Project, P6 or similar).
* Skilled in risk, issue and contract/commercial management.
* Strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery focus.
* Ability to adapt positively to change and challenge.
