Logistics and Inventory Control: Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, maintain stock levels, and ensure materials are available when needed. Equipment Maintenance: Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring all equipment is safe and operational. Safety and Compliance: Enforce site safety policies, conduct inspections, deliver staff training, and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations. Occasional Team Management: Supervise yard staff, assign tasks, manage performance, and ensure safe, efficient working practices. Communication and Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, contractors, and suppliers. Supplier and Manufacturer Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective support. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, maintenance logs, equipment usage, and safety checks. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and yard organisation. PPE and Consumables Management: Manage inventory of PPE and consumables, coordinating timely replenishment for operational needs. Yard Presentation: Maintain a clean, safe, organised, and secure yard at all times. Other Duties: Undertake any other reasonable tasks to support business operations.
