Job Description: Contract Personnel are looking to recruit a CNC Miller Programmer Setter to join a market leader in CNC solutions at their central hub in Great Yarmouth.

How does the day-to-day look?
We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering and a proactive approach to quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC milling machines with a focus on precision and efficiency
Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring components are produced to tight tolerances
Select and use appropriate cutting tools and work-holding methods for each job
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure components meet company quality standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
You will have:
Proven experience in setting and operating CNC milling machines
Solid understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and work-holding techniques
Competent in reading engineering drawings and working to fine tolerances
Familiarity with FANUC controls is essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Professional, courteous, and reliable with excellent teamwork and communication skills
What we offer:
Competitive salary circa £45,000 per year (plus over-time available at time and a half)
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

39 hours per week (core open times 06:30am – 5pm) with optional overtime available
