A well-respected and inclusive primary academy in Slough is looking for a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time role focused on supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), with responsibilities that include planning and leading learning activities.
This position is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
* Deliver and plan high-quality learning activities for individuals and small groups of pupils with SEN.
* Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and support staff to ensure consistent and effective learning provision.
* Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and monitor pupil progress.
* Support classroom routines and provide occasional whole-class cover when required.
* HLTA status or equivalent experience in a similar role within a school setting.
* Experience supporting children with a range of SEN, including planning and delivering differentiated activities.
* Confident in working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
