IFA Administrator Cambridge Up to £30,000
The opportunity for an IFA Administrator to join a well-established Financial Services Practice which provides a highly personalised financial planning and investment management service.
This would suit someone who is a recent graduate with an interest in Investments/financial services and keen to complete their exams within the industry.
The Opportunity
1. Provide administrative support throughout the trade implementation process
2. Provide administrative support to the investment team on day-to-day activities such as trade support, periodic rebalancing, corporate actions, cash flows, client reporting, portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, model changes, internal MI
3. Develop a strong relationship between Advisers and the Investment team, providing ad hoc support when needed
4. Work with the Research Analyst to monitor and identify funds for further research
5. Stay apprised about the state of the UK economy, global financial markets, and general current events
6. Maintain current knowledge about financial products available to corporate and individual clients
7. Develop a deep understanding of internal investment capabilities and client investment needs
8. Attend Investment Committee meetings to review and discuss overall portfolio strategies, provide concise and accurate written meeting notes
9. Contribute to the strong investment culture of the team and the firm
10. Contribute to the delivery of strong investment results for clients
11. Work closely with the Research Analyst to assess financial information and investment opportunities
12. Ensure compliance with the companies legal and compliance requirement with relevant authorities
Whats needed to be considered
In order to be considered for this unique opportunity, candidates need to have
13. Strong academic background, educated to a high level
14. Level 4 CISI Investment Advice Diploma preferred (or working towards)
15. Professional communication manner, both written and verbally
