Working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, you will enjoy a varied workload where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for a mix of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and high-impact improvement projects. This role is perfect for a solution-focused engineer who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within a modern production setting. Offering a salary of up to £45,000 and working a Monday- Friday double days shift pattern.
The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Responding rapidly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
* Executing a robust PPM schedule across all production and packaging systems.
* Maintaining vital site utilities, including HVAC, refrigeration and compressed air systems.
* Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery as part of ongoing site investment.
* Utilising CMMS to record all maintenance activities, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
* Driving continuous improvement by identifying ways to increase machine reliability and efficiency.
* Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Experience and Qualifications needed for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
* Level 3 Engineering qualification (Essential).
* Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with PLC systems is desirable.
* A safety-first mindset with a solid understanding of LOTO and UK H&S regulations.
* Competency in using CMMS and Microsoft 365 packages.

* Salary £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
* Double Days (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week).
