Sports Science Graduate - Occupational Health Technician Contract : Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Salary : £26,325 per annum. What does the role involve As an Occupational Health Technician, you'll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You'll drive a Mobile Testing Unit to client sites to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work. Your day-to-day might include: Carrying out health surveillance tests such as: Audiometry (hearing tests) / Spirometry (lung function tests) / Skin prick allergy testing / Vision screening / Venepuncture (blood draws) - they'll give you full training Preparing and maintaining equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely Identifying results that need follow-up and escalating them to our clinical team Supporting health promotion initiatives, like wellness events or wellbeing campaigns Helping to improve processes, ensuring we keep our service efficient, effective, and patient-focused Completing clinical paperwork and updating health records accurately No two days are quite the same. You'll be working independently much of the time, so being confident, organised and self-motivated is key. Throughout your role, you'll be supported by a friendly, experienced clinical team every step of the way.
