Malpas Church in Wales Primary School is seeking an inspiring, committed and forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher to join our leadership team. We are a happy, inclusive primary school educating children aged 3–11.

About the Role
The Governing Body is looking for a Deputy Headteacher who will:

Recruitment Process
The appointment process will include:
●A lesson observation
●Two formal interview days (successful candidates from day 1 invited to day 2)
Key Dates
●Closing Date for Applications: Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 12pm
●Shortlisting: Monday 26th January 2026
●Lesson Observations: 28th January - 6th February
●Interviews: Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th February 2026
Shortlisted candidates will also be invited to visit the school prior to interview.
The successful candidate is expected to commence employment from 1st September 2026 (subject to safeguarding and recruitment checks), or as soon as possible thereafter.
