Band 3 Ambulance Care Assistant 2 – Barry Ambulance Station
The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is looking for an Ambulance Care Assistant 2. This role offers a 6‑week training programme and offers opportunities to advance into Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic roles.
Job Summary
You will work as part of an ambulance team delivering patient care. You will undergo training and may be required to drive C1 licensed vehicles. You will be expected to maintain professional development and commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications
* Level 2 Diploma in Application of Number and Communication or 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics, English/Welsh and combined Sciences or any single science.
Experience
* Experience of working with people.
* Experience working alone as well as in a team.
* Experience within the health or social care setting (desirable).
Other Requirements
* C1 driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
