The role
As a Senior Planning Engineer you’ll be at the heart of some of the UK's most critical nuclear projects, shaping and maintaining robust project schedules that drive delivery excellence across the full project lifecycle. This is a full‑time, permanent position working 37 hours per week on a hybrid basis, with flexibility to work from home and on‑site at Warrington (Cheshire) or Bristol.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Support Project Managers to ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.
* Produce clear, concise reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
* Track progress, identify deviations and propose recovery actions.
* Manage schedule changes in line with NEC4 commercial requirements.
* Create and maintain detailed project schedules from initiation through to completion.
Essential experience
* Familiarity with NEC4 contracts and commercial scheduling.
* Proven experience in planning within engineering, nuclear or other highly regulated sectors.
* Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
* Ability to produce monthly programme updates for customers.
* Experience delivering high‑value, complex projects across the full lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Professional certifications in planning or project controls would be advantageous.
* A relevant engineering or project management qualification is desirable.
