Job Description:

About the role
At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. During your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We recognize that life looks different for each of us, and we welcome conversations about flexible working.
The Engineering Effectiveness organisation within Technology aims to make the work of over 2,000 Tesco software engineers as frictionless and delightful as possible. We enable quick access to information, provide valuable platforms and abstractions, and reduce toil. Our goal is to make the standard way the easiest way to develop, build, and deploy software.
Our team comprises product managers, software and systems engineers from the UK, Hungary, and India. We are customer-focused, data-led, and committed to solving the most valuable problems with high standards of engineering.
The Tesco Developer Platform (TDP) is a new platform that allows developers to build, deploy, and operate software in a self-service manner. It provides a golden path for automated build and deployment, improving quality, security, and standardization. The platform integrates various tools and technologies to streamline the pipeline to production, reducing cognitive load and manual work, and enabling faster, more secure software releases with better observability.
