This is a pivotal role, providing the wider business with accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strong financial control - offering up to £65,000.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and review monthly management accounts
2. Perform detailed P&L analysis, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
3. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads
4. Provide financial insights and commentary to support strategic and operational decisions
5. Maintain strong balance sheet controls and reconciliations
6. Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as required
About You
7. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
8. Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting
9. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
10. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with non-finance teams
11. Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded
