We are currently recruiting for a Stores Co-ordinator to join our Company. You will play an important role within a two-person team, helping to ensure that we deliver a fast turnaround and excellent service for our customers. You will control the receipt and despatch of all goods in and out and assist in all aspects of stores maintenance. This is a full time, permanent position based on site at our Leicestershire facility. Occasional use of a company vehicle to collect parts may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores department, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of goods using computerised couriers within the UK and worldwide
Operate and maintain the computerised stock control system (sage), ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
Receive, inspect, and book in deliveries, verifying quantities to delivery notes and checking for damage or discrepancies
Pick, pack, and issue materials in line with operational requirements and company procedures
Monitor stock levels and liaise with purchasing to reorder materials as required
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, implementing corrective actions where necessary
Ensure all materials are stored safely, securely, and in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient stores environment
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the stores function
About You:
You will need to be a proactive, hands-on team player with ability to work on your own initiative. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely and work well with colleagues across different functions.
Previous stores experience, including goods in and good out
Valid forklift truck licence and experience operating a forklift
Good computer literacy with experience using computerised stock and shipping systems
Numeracy and literacy skills
Knowledge of safe manual handling practices and Health and Safety regulations
Experience of working with overhead cranes preferable
Keen to learn about and become proficient in the company's parts
A full driving licence is required for this role
