We have an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher at an up-and-coming high school in West Kirkby, seeking a temp-to-perm applicant. You will be able to bring elements of fun into the classroom and make learning an enjoyable experience.
Requirements
1. Committed to safeguarding the welfare of young people
2. Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure
3. Training, Experience, and Qualifications
4. Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status or PGCE
5. Experience of successful teaching, evidenced by adding value to student achievements
6. Knowledge and Understanding
7. Thorough working knowledge of the curriculum related to this subject
8. Promotes literacy through lesson planning and delivery
9. Professional Skills and Abilities
10. Excellent classroom practice
11. Ability to relate to and motivate students
12. Commitment to raising standards and achievement for all students
13. Good behaviour management strategies
14. Use assessment levels to plan lessons
15. Knowledge of examination syllabus requirements at KS4 and KS5 in the specialist subject(s)
16. Understanding of how ICT can enhance students' learning

This school offers a caring and safe environment for all students and staff. It is within a 10-minute walk of the nearest station and has onsite parking for all staff.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:20 am - 3:30 pm, during term time, 3 days per week
