Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a hands-on approach to leading staff and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

Working 5 days a week 7/9am – 3 /4pm

Good rate of pay (£13.50 per hour) plus share of Tips

Duties

* Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation and adherence to quality standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning techniques.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
* Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations within the hotel.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
* Strong background in housekeeping operations is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive team environment while motivating staff to achieve their best performance.
