Job Description:
Core-Asset Consulting is partnering with a leading financial services and technology organisation to recruit an AI Developer for an exciting opportunity within a growing technology function in Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AI Developer to contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will work across the full AI development lifecycle, supporting the design, implementation and optimisation of scalable AI services and intelligent workflows.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with AI and LLM-based systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure OpenAI
- RAG architectures
- Vector databases and similarity search technologies
- Experience developing AI orchestration or agent-style solutions
- Strong understanding of LLM behaviour, optimisation and limitations
- Experience with .NET, C# and MVC would be advantageous
- Exposure to AI evaluation, testing and governance practices would be beneficial
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and the Microsoft Agent Framework
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines across structured and unstructured data
- Build agentic workflows and multi-step AI orchestration solutions
- Implement vector search and retrieval capabilities using Azure AI Search
- Contribute to the development of scalable, secure and observable AI services within Azure
