The Governors of Hazeldown School are seeking a kitchen assistant who will support the kitchen manager with the responsibility for ensuring that our children have access to high quality, well prepared and presented school meals. We have recently installed a brand-new kitchen facility, and you will be a key team member at the heart of the lunchtime experience for our 400 children. You will also be keen to be an integral part of the wider team at Hazeldown.
An understanding of the importance of the lunchtime experience on children’s wellbeing and success during the school day is key.
The role will involve working under the direction of the kitchen manager, within an established framework, with support from Educatering, a kitchen management team who provide menu design, operating procedure guidance, training, and regular support.
