* Current knowledge of statutory, legislative requirements, including Health and Safety, Data Protection, the Equality Act, Disability Discrimination Act, and Keeping Children Safe in Education, with the ability to apply this knowledge to SEND practice (Essential)
* Ability to understand, analyse, and effectively use a wide range of data (Essential)
* Ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and stakeholders to enhance SEND provision (Essential)
* A creative, evidence-based approach to problem solving (Essential)
Experience:
* Previous experience working within a SEND education setting (Desirable)
* Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Speech, Language and Communication difficulties, SEMH, cognition & learning needs, sensory or physical needs (Essential)
* Confidence in advising on approaches for children with SEND to support teaching, behaviour, and emotional regulation (Essential)
* Willingness to develop IT skills (Essential)
* Working knowledge of legislation and policies related to education from DfE, Local Authorities, and other bodies (Desirable)
