Who You Are As a Children’s Social Worker, you will have significant experience in frontline child protection work, including direct work with children, and a robust understanding of the risks and needs associated with vulnerable children and their families. You are skilled in conducting high-quality assessments and care planning, ensuring that children and young people are protected in line with relevant legislation and policies. With at least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, particularly within local authority children’s social care in England, you will have proven abilities in working within complex and challenging environments. What the Job Involves You will manage a diverse caseload, perform detailed assessments and child protection investigations, and create care plans aimed at preventing the separation of children from their families where possible. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective services and ensure the wellbeing of children.
