The Role

Senior Transformation Strategy and Innovation Manager

At British Airways, transformation isnt a single project, its a constant effort to rethink how we work, connect, and grow. As a Senior Transformation Strategy and Innovation Manager, youll work closely with senior leaders across the business to tackle complex challenges, uncover opportunities, and lead the design of initiatives that make a lasting impact. This is a role for someone who can bring insight, structure, and influence to some of the most important decisions we make about our future.

What Youll Do

Work with senior leaders across BA to shape the future of our transformation, using data and insight to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
Lead diagnostic work into complex and large scale strategic problems, using tools like data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder input to understand whats really going on and then drive the decision on the solution.
Coordinate large cross-functional teams to design new initiatives, set clear goals, and support early planning and governance.
Build a culture of innovation, bringing in new ideas and thinking into BA, from across IAG and beyond and set them on the pathway to implementation.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate updates clearly through reports and presentations, drive impact and decisions through deliberate strategic communications.

What Youll Bring To British Airways

A structured and deliberate approach to problem solving, with a top-down approach.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to turn complexity into clarity, and consider the broader implications of decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to use communications to drive impact and take colleagues on the journey.
Passion for innovation and a drive to explore new ideas that make a difference.
A high level of ownership and a passion for impact.

Your Experience

Proven experience in strategic change and transformation is essential.
Background in a top-tier management consultancy or equivalent senior role.
Strong financial and commercial understanding, with the ability to assess business impact.
Familiarity with innovation techniques, digital tools, and performance frameworks.
A degree is helpful but not essential if you bring the right experience.
