Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated International Trade Consultant to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Primary Responsibilities:
* Tariff Analysis & Optimization: Conduct detailed reviews of tariff classifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with international trade standards.
* Regulatory Compliance Advisory: Interpret trade regulations across various jurisdictions, ensuring businesses remain fully compliant with evolving policies and trade agreements.
* Customs Procedures & Documentation Support: Guide businesses through complex customs processes, ensuring proper documentation, clearance procedures, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Commodity Classification & Harmonized System (HS) Codes Expertise: Provide strategic recommendations for accurate product classification to prevent costly missteps.
* Strategic Trade Planning & Consulting: Develop customized trade strategies tailored to business objectives, helping companies enhance profitability and streamline international operations.

Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

* Proven Experience in Trade Consulting or International Business, with a demonstrated ability to provide strategic solutions.
* Understanding of Financial Applications in Global Trade, including tariff costs, taxation structures, and import/export valuation methods.
* Exceptional Written & Verbal Communication Skills to effectively present recommendations, reports, and strategic insights to clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to Work Independently & Remotely, maintaining productivity and efficiency while managing multiple client projects.
* Industry Experience in Trade Consulting or Customs Compliance (preferred but not required).
