Exciting Opportunity in a Growing Insurance Services BusinessMy client a leading provider of outsourced services to the insurance industry, is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to join our expanding team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a senior role where you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality financial reporting and maintaining robust processes and controls across Lloyd's syndicates and insurance clients both internally and externally. The RoleAs a Group Reporting Accountant, you will provide a professional and accurate accounting service to clients, ensuring all deliverables are produced efficiently and in line with strict deadlines. Key responsibilities include:
1. Producing group consolidated management accounts and financial reports
2. Preparing statutory accounts and GAAPpliant reporting
3. Maintaining and reconciling client ledgers
4. Preparing and processing journals, recharges, and payments
5. Supporting regulatory returns and audit processes
6. Monitoring cash flow, balances, and outstanding items
7. Ensuring strong financial controls and documentation
8. Collaborating with clients, auditors, and regulators
9. Supporting team development, training, and process improvements
About YouWe're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills:
10. Qualified accountant
11. Experience in group reporting and financial consolidation
12. Background in insurance finance / Lloyd's environment desirable but not essential
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
14. Confidentmunicator with senior stakeholder engagement experience
15. Proven ability to managepeting deadlines
16. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
(Sage Intacct experience advantageous)
