Life Practitioner
Tigh Abaid, Langford, Newark and Sherwood, Nottinghamshire
£27,619.02 – £29,406.00 per annum (DOE)
Due to continued organisational growth and internal development opportunities, we are recruiting a Life Practitioner to join our Children’s Residential Home team at Tigh Abaid.
Located in the rural village of Langford, within the Newark and Sherwood district of Nottinghamshire.
About the Role
The Life Practitioner supports young people with complex needs. This rewarding role requires passion, resilience, and motivation to make a positive impact, helping young people move towards independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of young people, working with the staff team.
* Engage in recreational activities within the home and community.
* Support daily living tasks like cooking, cleaning, and household chores.
* Build respectful, trusting relationships, offering consistent support and dignity.
* Respond to physical, emotional, behavioural, and cultural needs.
* Maintain accurate records as per care plans and procedures.
* Review and adapt support based on evolving needs.
* Contribute to team development and a positive work culture.

About You
Requirements:
• Passion for care and helping others.
• Strong team player.
• Resilience and willingness to seek support.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Diploma Level 3 in Young People’s Workforce or willingness to complete within a set timeframe.
