Health and Safety Governance & Compliance Manager Leprino is seeking to appoint a Health and Safety Governance & Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. The role is based at the Magheralin site working within the Health & Safetydepartment. To support consistent, compliant and effective Health & Safety management across the business by maintaining governance routines, coordinating audits and corrective actions, producing performance insights, and enabling delivery of agreed Health & Safety strategic initiatives. The role also provides central governance for contractor safety processes, claims learning, Health & Safety management systems, and the effective use of H&S digital platforms. The role works in partnership with site Health & Safety Managers and functional leaders to strengthen standards, accountability and follow-through. Site H&S Managers are accountable for day-to-day safety and legal compliance their sites. This role supports their efforts by providing governance, compliance coordination, audit scheduling, action-tracking discipline, reporting, and strategic initiative support. The role will also offer site H&S support and cover when site H&S Managers are on leave, as well as an escalation point for the business. Why Leprino? IOSH and/or NEBOSH certification Experience working as a Health & Safety Management position in a manufacturing environment Experience supporting Health & Safety governance, compliance, audit coordination, or action management in a manufacturing/operations environment. Experience working with Health & Safety management systems and/or ISO 45001-aligned processes. Able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of Accreditation Standards and Safety Management systems and their application. Strong organisational skills with disciplined management of trackers, deadlines, and reporting packs. Ability to influence without formal authority and drive follow-through with stakeholders at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing concise governance reporting. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Desirable : Formal qualification or accredited training in any of the following: Business Management Risk Assessment COSHH Assessment Auditing Health & Well-being As per Essential but in a Dairy background.
