We are currently working with an established and highly regarded main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.
This role will suit a construction professional with a proven track record delivering ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ and ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐ผ-๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป schemes across London and the South East.
The successful candidate will initially be based on a live project in Sussex involving the delivery of a ๐ฐ.๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ office-to-residential conversion scheme. Due to the location of current and future projects, candidates must ideally live within or around the ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฑ/๐ ๐ฎ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฟ.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring programme, quality, commercial and health & safety objectives are achieved throughout.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ:
โข Managing permitted development and office-to-residential conversion schemes
โข Overseeing projects from inception through to final handover
โข Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teams
โข Managing programme delivery, quality and health & safety compliance
โข Chairing progress meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
โข Resolving technical and operational challenges throughout the build process
โข Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐:
โข Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
โข Strong background delivering permitted development projects
โข Office-to-residential conversion experience is essential
โข Experience delivering projects of approximately 50 units or similar scale
โข Must live within or around the M25/M23 corridor
โข Strong communication and organisational skills
โข Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to project delivery
โข Stable career history with reputable contractors preferred
