We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional environment while developing valuable skills. Prior experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
* Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and health & safety regulations
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
* Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures
* Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction and address any specific requirements
Qualifications
* Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
* Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
* Basic driving skills are desirable for roles requiring travel between sites
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
