Bursted Wood Surgery in Barnehurst (London Borough ofBexley) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic salaried GP. We areoffering an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to work four to six sessionsa week within a growing, dynamic, forward thinking, friendly and supportiveteam.
We are offering £11K - £11.5K per session and welcomeapplications from both experienced and recently qualified GPs. Applicants mustbe willing to work across two sites (located within half a mile of each other).

Main duties of the job
To manage patient caseload for both acute andchronic problems, ensuring high standards of care for all patients
Conduct surgery consultations, telephoneconsultations and home visits
Make autonomous decisions, assess healthcareneeds, and screen for disease risk factors
To provide on-call duties as part of a GP rota
Complete all relevant patient admin in a timelymanner
Comply with policies, ensuring lifelonglearning, contribute to audits and clinical standards
Communicate with team members, patients andcarers in a clear and consistent way
About us
Bursted Wood Surgery is anexpanding two partner APMS practice with a patient population of 6,000.
In April 2026, Bursted WoodSurgery will be amalgamated with the Lyndhurst Medical Centre, another localPMS practice based in Barnehurst. The total patient population will be 19,000and the new practice will work across the current two sites. Both practicescome in the top 10 in the 2025 patient survey for overall satisfaction withinthe Bexley Borough.
We have a fantasticmulti-disciplinary team including Salaried GPs, Practitioners, Practice Nurses,Pharmacists, Home Visiting Paramedic, HCAs and a good established support andreception team in place. We are a member of an innovative high performingPrimary Care Network (APL Bexley PCN) with four other local practices.

Person Specification
* A highly motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable GP who can give a friendly, caring and professional service to our patients
* Strong clinical skills with an evidence-based approach to patient care
* Ability to manage time, workload and patient related administration effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Qualifications
* Qualified GP
