Job Description
Our client's Commercial Litigation team in London is recognised for handling complex, high-stakes and technically demanding commercial disputes, often with an international dimension. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of complex, high-profile cases and to develop your expertise in a supportive, ambitious and highly regarded team.
Lawyers advise clients on a wide range of matters, including:
* Contractual disputes, fraud and conspiracy and corporate mismanagement
* Shareholder claims, contested share purchase agreements and partnership disputes
* Insolvency, professional negligence and FS disputes
* Technology and intellectual property disputes, crypto asset recovery and reputation management
* Aset tracing and recovery, obtaining urgent remedies such as freezing injunctions, search orders and disclosure orders, to preserve and recover assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on a broad range of commercial disputes
* Managing case files and assisting partners across all aspects of litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution
* Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and client reports
* Contributing to thought leadership, client development and team initiatives
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
You will have:
* A strong academic background (2:1 degree or equivalent) from a leading university
* Demonstrable experience handling complex and cross-border disputes
* Excellent technical knowledge of litigation procedures and case strategy
* Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
