Plant Operator – Wood Chip Power Plant£30,000Milton Ernest, BedfordshireMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Operator to carry out routine and maintenance at a Wood chip burning power plant in Milton Earnest, BedfordshireAs an Plant Operator you will be responsible for:The day to day operations of the plant, making regular check of the plant and equipmentMaking adjustments, repairs and service of the equipment to aid the smooth running of the plantMonitoring the plant via a SCADA system with training given, maintaining records and reports in various logs eg: daily checks, midnight readings and water sample testingEnsuring the plant is operating within its parameters whilst complying with HSE rulesMaintain site tidiness and general good housekeepingTo be considered for this role you should have:Experience working in the industry such as gas or coal power plants, biomass, anaerobic digestion or biogas would be an advantage but not necessary as all training will be givenBoiler licence or any other relevant power plant accreditation or knowledgePrevious experience is beneficial but training is a ongoing objectiveWillingness to work rotating 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off days and nightsSalary & BenefitsStarting basic salary of £30,000 which includes a shift allowance and gas a raising scale depending on experience and completion of probationCompany pension20 days holiday per yearTo apply:If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Jordan at MC Technical Recruitment on +44 7863 753045 / for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
